1. The meaning of metrology, the law on metrology, institutions active in metrology, basic concepts in the field of metrology, SI units.
2. National metrological system, classification of measuring instruments, continuity diagrams.
3. Measurement errors and uncertainties.
4. Basics of checking deviations in shape and position.
5. Coordinate measuring machines, stationary and mobile.
6. Measurement using non-contact measurement methods.
7. Length metrology - basic length measuring instruments.
8. Quality control of machined surfaces - surface roughness.
9. Plane angle metrology, control of conical surfaces.
10. Control and measurement of selected thread parameters.
11. Control and measurement of selected gear parameters.
12. Principles of measuring instruments - mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, optical, optical-mechanical.
13. Requirements for metrological laboratories.
