System Identification

Summary

The content of this subject are the analytical and experimental methods of the creating of the mathematical model of the dynamic system. The lectures are focused on the principles of the mathematical-physical modelling of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal systems. In the frame of the experimental methods the methods based on the use of deterministic and random signals are taught. The methods for the evaluation of the transfer functions, impulse response and Bode plots are explained, next the stochastic approach for the system identification and identification of the discrete models in form ARMAX are introduced.
