Advanced Methods of Modeling and Visualization

Summary

This course will show you how to master advanced techniques in 3D modeling, assembly design, and mechanical system simulations. You will learn how to create functional models with fixed and moving constraints, including tolerance analysis. You will practice mechanism simulations, learn how to analyze kinematics and dynamics of mechanisms and create animations of mechanisms. There is a strong emphasis on visualization - you will learn to work with digital twins and use virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) in design and prototyping. You will test your theoretical knowledge in practical exercises.
