Summary

The subject deals with refrigeration technique and heat pumps. Students gain
basic knowledges in theory of compressor and sorption refrigeration cycles,
environmental aspects of refrigerants. Further the use of heat pumps for low
potential heat utilization is taught. A practical excursion is also planned as part of the subject.
