Subject syllabus

Environmental protection, basic concepts, legislation.
Basic concepts of air protection, pollutants in the air.
Permissible air pollution level.
Fundamentals of the technical solution of the separators.
Reducing the concentration of solid pollutants.
Production of gaseous pollutants and their monitoring.
Principle of concentration measurement of gaseous pollutants.
Basic concepts in water protection, pollution of the water recipient.
Water properties and waste water treatment principles.
Fundamentals of technical solutions for water treatment.
Sewage and waste water treatment.
Waste water treatment plants.
Excursion to waste water treatment plant.

All study materials (lectures, exercises, etc.) are available to students in a group on the MS Teams platform, which is always created for them before the start of the semester. Students will be added to the group by the teacher. Students will receive a direct link to the group by email.
