Subject syllabus

Annotation:

Students of the given subject will be acquainted with the basic concepts of waste management and waste management and with the legal regulations of the Czech Republic and the EU in this studied area. Attention will also be paid to pollutants, production and management of selected wastes, the occurrence and occurrence of selected wastes, their use and basic technologies and principles for their processing.

1.Waste substances and types of resources.
2.Legislation related to waste management issues.
3,4. Landfilling of waste. Construction of modern landfills. Composting.
5.Recycling of waste, recycling limits.
6.Definitions and differences between species and methods of waste management.
7.Evaluation and determination of risks.
8.Thermic waste disposal. Fluidized bed combustion. Grate and rotary pece.Wood waste.
9.Radioactive waste.
10. Hospital and toxic waste.
11,12. Modern industrial waste incinerator and municipal waste incinerator.
13.The capture of sulfur oxides, nitrogen, halogens, heavy metals and fumes.
14. Biological Waste Treatment Methods - Composting.
