Diagnostic methods of energy processes

Summary

Aim of the course is acquiring knowledge of measurement and evaluation of thermo-technical parameters of power equipment (boilers, turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, motors) with the aim to optimize their operation using diagnostic and measuring methods. Students will acquire the ability of independent decision-making in operational problems of power equipment and are able to propose solutions for analyzing the origin and elimination of their causes, using diagnostic systems.
The course will include laboratory exercises in which students become familiar with methods for diagnosing energy processes.
