Modern Energy Sources

Anotace

The subject introduces key concepts of energy sources that are part of the Czech energy mix. It solves the decarbonisation of energy by introducing the following technologies and systems: - Reducing the energy performance of buildings - Implementing electricity distribution systems and smart grids - Increasing the share of renewable energy - Implementing energy storage systems - Using cogeneration of heat and electricity - Construction of district energy systems - Using fuel cells and hydrogen - Development of thermonuclear energy. - Objectives in the field of energy and climate protection.
Students are thus prepared for the practical application of theoretical knowledge in energy practice and understanding the concept of sustainable energy production with the process of decarbonisation, emission-free economics and sustainable energy.
