Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will acquire comprehensive knowledge in the field of energy storage and its role in modern energy systems. The student will be able to describe and explain the principles of various energy storage technologies and their application within energy systems, analyze their technical, economic, and operational parameters, and compare their suitability for different applications. Furthermore, the student will be able to evaluate the synergy between nuclear and renewable energy sources within the context of the energy mix, apply basic economic indicators to energy systems with storage, and demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental legislative and regulatory frameworks in the energy sector.
