Subject syllabus

Lectures:
- Technical standardization and its purpose; Types of standards; Preferred numbers and number series; Standards for design and documentation of structured cabling and optical routes.
- Electrical diagrams and symbols; The division according to the method of drawing and according to the purpose of use (block diagram, circuit diagrams, situational diagrams - e.g. representation of insulation, windings, etc.).
- Dimensioning on technical drawings: Dimensioning lines; Methods of dimensioning; Principles of dimensioning; Technological processes. Marking of technical materials; Prescribing of materials and semi-finished products; Surface quality of components; Roughness, and surface treatment.
- Wiring diagrams of buildings and equipment; Elements of wiring and their signs (two-way switches, circuit breakers, protectors etc.); Basic procedures for electrical installation design.
- Basics of reading distribution network plans (electricity / water / heating / etc.), and situational plans of cities and municipalities (build-up area, transport infrastructure, conditions of network coexistence).
- Basics of imaging; Axonometry; Rectangular projection; Scales; Sections and cross-sections and their marking; Partial sections; Image interruption, Details; Simplification.
- Computer processing of technical documentation; SW tools (CAD, Eagle and others).
