High Voltage Technology

Anotace

The course presents selected areas of high voltage technology and high voltage measurements. It focuses on the occurrence of overvoltage phenomena and the possibilities of protecting the grid against overvoltage. The course contains the theory of insulators and dielectrics, their design and breakdown mechanism. The course also covers the area of high voltage testing and technical equipment of testing facilities.
