Subject syllabus

List of lectures:
1. Burglar alarm and emergency systems - introduction, basic terminology
2. The current legislation and applicable standards, relating to the installation of burglar alarm and emergency systems.
3. The principle of burglar alarm and emergency systems operation, annunciator (smoke, temperature, etc.), elements of the installation.
4. Parameters of burglar alarm and emergency systems, the choice of detectors location, outputs systems, false alarms, installation of fire alarm systems.
5. Fire alarms - classification, fire alarm control panels.
6. Fire-fighting equipments of objects, operation of fire alarm systems
7. The design of fire alarm systems.
8. Basic terminology in the field of electronic security systems, market division, components division, elements sheathing and interior protection.
9. The standards for Electrical security systems, schematic symbols.
10. Establishment, design and installation of burglar alarm and emergency systems, Security levels and environmental classification.
11. Guard zones - protection of persons, buildings, premises and objects (perimeter guarding, guarding of building envelope).
12. Guarding space, guarding objects.
13. Installation of security equipment, alarm control panels, example application of intrusion and KNX.
