This subject is consolidating the knowledges obtained in previous studies
(Electrical Apparatus 1, Electrical Apparatus 2, electromagnetical Apparatus,
Plasma Technics).Students acquire basic experiences in designer work on design
and development of new apparatus in the general form. The course is intent on
design of low voltage switching apparatus (contactors, protectors) up to extra
high voltage switching devices (extra high voltage circuit breakers,
disconnecting switches) and of other elements used in switching stations and
switchboards. The numerical methods of solution of physical fields are used for
design works.
