Technology and Compounding Materials of Electrical Apparatus

Summary

An aim of this course is to acquire basic principles of production technology
of the controlling and switching devices up to technological complexes such as
very high voltage switching stations. The main parts of this course deals with
construction materials and technological operations including surface
treatments, insulating materials technologies, epoxides, contacts and current
carrying gates up to protective covering techniques and treatments for
instrument meteorological conditions. A number of excursion to manufacturers of
these devices (such as ABB , OEZ, MEP is added to this course.
