Subject syllabus

Lectures:
- Schedule of lectures:
- Harmonic quantities – powers in alternating current circuits, power factor
- Ideal and real RLC circuit elements. Impedance, admittance, phasor diagrams, magnetic coupling
- Resonant circuits, multiple resonance, filtering properties of resonant circuits
- Frequency characteristics – module and phase characteristics
- Three-phase circuits
- Fault conditions in three-phase circuits
- Time-varying quantities: characteristic values, harmonic analysis, spectrum
- Initial conditions, Transient events in linear circuits 1.
- Transient events in linear circuits of the 2nd order
- Solving transient events using the operator method
- Double gates
- Homogeneous conduction, primary and secondary parameters, wave impedance
- Consultation, Classification test

Exercises:
- Solution of AC circuits, construction of phasor diagrams
- Test 1; Magnetic binding
- Resonant circuits, Analysis of simple passive filters, construction of frequency characteristics
- Measurement – RC Article
- Analysis of three-phase circuits, star load, phasor diagrams
- Test 2; Analysis of three-phase circuits, delta load, phasor diagrams
- Circuits with non-harmonic waveforms.
- Test 3; Initial conditions, transient events in linear circuits of the 1st order - d.c. source, alternating source
- Measurement – Transient event of the 2nd order
- Transient events in linear circuits of the 2nd order - d.c. source, operator count
- Test 4; Measurement – Transient event of the 2nd order
- Determining the parameters of the double gate
- Determination of parameters of homogeneous lines. Correction of one measurement and one test
