Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses the architecture and functional requirements of modern microcomputer-based control systems,
– designs individual components of a microcomputer-based control system for an industrial application,
– applies appropriate hardware and software resources in the implementation of a control system,
– integrates a microcomputer system with sensors, actuators, and the controlled process,
– verifies the functionality of the designed control system using an electrical drive control application.
