Osnova předmětu

Theoretical part:
1) Introduction to radio communications.
2) Basic concepts, variables used in radio communication, spectrum allocation.
3) Software in radio-communication.
4) Maxwell eq., frequency spectrum, radio signals.
5) Radio waves in free space, the main types of radio waves, radio waves propagation.
6) The base scheme of radio communication, signal processing. Source encoding, codecs, radio channel.
7) Channel coding, multiply access.
8) Analog modulation.
9) Digital modulation.
10)Antennas I - principles, basic characteristics.
11)Antennas II - basic types, properties and construction.
12)Antennas III - special types, antennae, EH antenna, magnetic antenna.
13)Antenna matching.
14)OK2KQM HAM VSB.

3) Parameters of antennas and power, calculating the adjustment to the antenna feeder.
