Internet of Things

Summary

In this course, students are introduced to the basic principles and features of sensor networks used in various technical fields of Internet of Things (IoT). The course is focused on the area of distributed sensor networks, their architecture and communication with sensors. The main goal is to enhance student’s skills with theory and practice about communication technologies for transmitting small amounts of data and methods of wireless sensor network design in the IoT. The graduate will be able to theoretically and practically integrate the sensors into the existing IoT networks and independently design the sensor network communication infrastructure.
