Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses the architecture and operating principles of 2G to 5G mobile radio networks,
– compares the technical principles, architectures, and transmission mechanisms of different generations of mobile networks,
– applies methods for analysing radio channels and basic parameters of mobile networks,
– evaluates radio link parameters and quality based on measurements,
– assesses current development trends in mobile networks, including 5G technologies and the prospects for 6G.
