Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses security risks in communication networks and identifies appropriate mitigation measures,
– applies modern cryptographic mechanisms to secure data communication,
– designs and implements appropriate security mechanisms in network infrastructure,
– evaluates the properties and security level of the protocols and mechanisms used,
– assesses security solutions with regard to the requirements of a specific network infrastructure.
