Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses communication networks using queuing system models,
– applies Erlang models to the dimensioning of telecommunication systems,
– evaluates the effect of traffic load on network parameters and the quality of provided services,
– interprets QoS and QoE parameters and uses them to evaluate communication networks,
– creates a simulation model of a communication network in OMNeT++ or NS-3 and evaluates its results.
