Summary

The Network Technologies III course combines theoretical foundations with practical skills necessary for the design, operation and automation of corporate and provider networks. Students will learn about network devices virtualization, advanced traffic management, packet filtering, underlay and overlay network protocols, advanced configuration of the BGP routing protocol, segment routing, and mechanisms of automation and supervision systems. The course develops knowledge of basic networking principles with the aim of providing students with the skills needed to effectively design, deploy, and manage large-scale networks with high performance and security requirements.
