The subject dedicates itself to principal characteristics of lights, their usage for telecommunication, measurement, processing and record of image information. A part of this subject are: modulation principles and techniques, information transmission through atmosphere and others dielectric media, constructions of sources and radiation detectors and some technologies processing of optical signals.
