System on Chip

Summary

SoC - system on chip is modern principle of design electronic systems, when all system is placed to one integrated circuit. The design system for SoC (EDA tools) integrates hardware and software design to one design enviroment. The FPGA (Filed Programmable Gate Array) are used for final realization of digital system. In the case of large production the ASIC circuit is used and description of system is used for preparing ASIC production. The trend of SoC is to multiprocessor system and NoC - Network on Chip. It means that system bus of procesor is replaced by network technology.
