Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses the properties of continuous and discrete linear control systems,
– designs and synthesizes a control loop according to the required dynamic characteristics,
– analyses nonlinear systems and assesses their stability,
– applies optimization methods in the design of control systems,
– designs an appropriate adaptive or learning control system for a given application.
