Code 455-0020
Abbreviation SaS2
Course title Signals and Systems II
Coordinating department Department of Measurement and Control
Course coordinator prof. Ing. Pavel Nevřiva, DrSc.

Summary

The purpose of the course is to provide an advanced student basis in control, communicastion, electronic circuits, filter design, digital signal processing. The student will master the continuous-time and discrete-time signals and systems. More information in the basic relation between characteristics of signals and systems is presented.
Numerical analysis of both nonlinear continuous-time nonlinear and discrete-time system is introduced. The use of MATLAB is the prerequisite of work. The course covers the basic information in Image Analysis. This course is intended primarily for master degree students in electrical engineering at VSB TU FEI Ostrava. It is a subsequent course to the course Signals and Systems I.
