Logic Control System and Programmable Controllers

Summary

Programmable logic controllers are most used industrial control system today. Good knowledge of this field of automation is necessary for students in the study branch of Measurement and Control Systems.
Lectures are attended to programmable logic controller technique, IEC 61131 standard, methodology of control system analysis and design, development of control program. Several lectures attend to basics of HMI/SCADA systems and communications.
Practical exercises are hold in well-equipped laboratory. Students work with Siemens Simatic S7 200, 300, ASI and Profibus. Students develop control programs using basic functions of PLC's. Students solve two protocols and one main work within the term.
