The goal of subject is introduce students on advanced methods of data acquisition and processing using computer systems. The student aquired during this course information about the fundamental problems of computer I/O interface devices design. The course is focused on the area of analysis and desig of modern advanced computer aided measuring methods and circuits. The common circuit using temperature sensor is presented and processes of input signal acquision, signal conditioning, digital conversion and output signal recovery are analysed. The goal is design of computer I/O systems to achive precision signal acquisition and accurate data conversion. A fundamental concern throught is the accuracy of the data from the analogy input circuits throught the data conversion devices and output reconstruction components. The following topics are discused:sensors, operational and instrumentational amplifiers, filters, devices for data conversion, signal recovery and interpolation.
In the subject is performed explanation of modern measurement technology, systems and special electronic instruments. The introduction to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is presented. A special capture is aimed on medern data-buss oriented architecture and standards of measurement systems. The subject is suitable also fr students of other fields of study and other faculties if they would be familiarized with electric circuits from viewpoint of measurement technology and modern electronical computer oriented measurement systems.
