Subject syllabus

Topics for lectures and follow-up exercises:
- Introduction to applied practices within critical systems
- Cybersecurity analysis practices — assets, objectives, use of the TARA method, cybersecurity requirements
- Functional safety analysis practices — HARA situational analysis, safety goals
- Architecture design for critical systems (static, dynamic, and functional views)
- Testing of critical systems and other processes — configuration management and quality
- Organizational (corporate) culture in the development of critical systems — processes, mechanisms (escalation, relationships with suppliers or customers)
- Project planning, execution, and monitoring — activities, structure, estimates; definition of project resources and needs; identification and assignment of resources; communication mechanisms and responsibilities
