Introduction to Statistics

Anotace

The course provides students with fundamental knowledge of descriptive statistics and prepares them to independently conduct data analysis using the R software. Students will be able to define basic statistical concepts, describe descriptive statistical methods, and interpret results through graphs and tables. They will apply statistical tools to summarize and visualize data, calculate measures of central tendency, dispersion, and skewness, and explain their significance. The course develops students' ability to analyze data sets and prepare simple statistical reports based on the insights gained.
