Language of instruction angličtina, čeština
Code 480-2046
Abbreviation AKU
Course title Ultrasonical Diagnostical Methods
Coordinating department Department of Physics
Course coordinator Ing. Marek Nikodým, Ph.D.

Summary

The subject belongs to a group of objects constituting the professional profile of the student. It builds
the student's knowledge of basic physics course. These skills are also in
lectures developed in the field of mechanical waves and propagation of mechanical
waves in the material, in particular ultrasound waves. The knowledge acquired is
then used in the practice of detecting defects in materials using
ultrasonic diagnostic methods. The exercises are practical. In practical
exercises are theoretical knowledge must be applied using modern
ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for real defects in metal and
non-metallic preparations and products. The subject has an application focus.
