Type of study Follow-up Master
Language of instruction English
Code 480-4027/02
Abbreviation MAM
Course title Methods of Material Characterization
Credits 6
Coordinating department Department of Physics
Course coordinator Ing. Lucie Gembalová, Ph.D.

Subject syllabus

Aim of the subject is introducing of chosen methods for measurements of various physical parameters. We will focus our attention mainly to diffraction (X-ray diffraction), microscopic (transmission and electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy), magneto-optical, magnetic, (vibrating sample magnetometry), and nuclear spectroscopic (Mossbauer spectroscopy) techniques.
