Thin Films

Summary

The course includes fundamentals of preparation methods, measuring of thin-
film parameters, properties of thin films and surfaces, and its applications.
The course is focused on thin-film optics, optical measurement, applications
in optics, magnetism and magnetic properties of thin films, applications in
magnetic memories and sensors, and electrical properties of thin films.
Nanometer-thick thin films and nanostructures prepared by lithographic methods
and patterning are included.
