Technical Cultural Monuments

Summary

The subject Technical Cultural Monuments offers a total review about the technical monuments which are situated on the territory of Czech Republic. The contentual scheme of this subject doesn´t create only enumeration of particular technical interests on the territory of Czech Republic. It´s the reason, why the constituent of the scheme is also paid to the problems connected with the research, registration and utilization of the technical monuments. The categorization of these technical monuments is also performed. The main attention is paid especially to these technical monuments connected with the coal and ore mining work and also to the other miner monuments in Czech Republic. The accent is put on study of their effect on development of tourist trade, expecially in industrial areas, abundant in these industrial monuments. Last but not least, the attention is paid to the problems of technical museum science and technical museums, miner open – air museums, architecture and lore open – air museums etc. (the sequence with the subject „Museum Science“). The significant part of the subject scheme is paid to the rare monuments registered in the list of UNESCO and the national cultural monuments, especially to those which have the character of technical monuments.
