Environmental Informatics

Summary

The first topic is concerning about data organization in computer
environment. The data by herself are described, regarding to data
presentation, real-world data conversion, and computer data types. Next,
the logical data organization is presented by two data structure models:
hierarchical and relational. In this topic we can see: data structure
storing and retrieving, virtual structures creating, sorting and
indexing. In practical part of this subject, the software for inputting,
editing and information generating is presented. The aim is geosciences data
applications, and Internet information pages creation and
utilization.
