Course aims

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the technical monuments that are located on the territory of the Czech Republic. Students will gain knowledge that will enable them to categorize the various technical monuments according to their degree of preservation, as well as gain knowledge in the field of research, evidence and recovery technical sights, students can compare their degree of preservation, to assess the current state and during practical demonstrations will try to suggest possible methods of recovery. At mining heritage character, which constitute a significant part of the curriculum of the course, students must be able to describe their original functional classification and explain for what purpose have been used in mining work. As part of the course, the students will expand their knowledge as well as other types of technical monuments in our country.
