Principles of Opencast Mining

Summary

The goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with the knowledge of
the base information about characteristics of minerals resources, their
deposits, methods of exploitation, development, surface mining and utilization
of minerals in an industry. Last but not least, attention will be paid to a
structure of a surface mining firm, location of mineral deposits, base
properties of row minerals and environment in which the mining and mineral
processing will be done.
