Subject syllabus

1. Measuring of physical properties of Rocks (apparent density, real density, porosity, water absorption).
2. Measuring of physical properties of Soils (consistency limits, grainsize analysis, soil classification).
3. Mechanical properties of Rocks and Soils ( UCS, Tensile and tangencial strength).
4. Practical measuring in situ (measuring of discontunities, Schmidt hammer, light dynamic penetration - DPL)
