resistance transformation ¬of the network, Hardy-Cross method. Theory of
graphs, circulation and flow networks. Branches and nodal points. Important
network subsystems – banned tree, primary and secondary branches, circuits.
Network presentation, macroscopic characteristics of mine ventilation network.
Iterative methods – Newton-Raphson, Linear analysis. Optimization of mine
ventilation, Critical Path Method. Case studies.
