Theory of particulate matter

Summary

The mechanics of particulate matter is a dynamically developing field of science and research that extends into people's daily lives. The direction of human activity is the fragmentation and defragmentation of substances, while these processed particles of substance change their geometric and mechanical-physical properties. The theory of particulate matter deals with models, the actual measurement of the properties of particulate matter, as well as their use in describing the processes (pressure profiles, pressure pulses, flow profiles, arches, crushing, sorting, separation, etc.). Students will be acquainted with the rules of mathematical description, particulate matter properties and the processes initial laws.
They will get acquainted with the basic digitization rules of the description of particulate matter properties and digitization of selected processes.
