Review of Mining

The goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with the role of the
base of mineral raw materials, with mining of coal, ore, minerals and
construction raw materials at deep and surface deposits, with the methods of
exploitation of particular kinds of mineral raw materials for the purposes of
their utilisation. Furthermore, the subject is to provide the basis of
particular systems of opening of underground and surface mining, selection of
technologies of mining, disintegration, transport.
