Summary
This course builds on “Fundamentals of 2D Drafting” and focuses on mastering AutoCAD for use in surveying.
Technical Knowledge: Students will acquire knowledge of the fundamentals of computer-aided technical drawing and the principles of working in the AutoCAD CAD environment, with a focus on its use in surveying, including the structure and properties of electronic drawings in *.dwg format.
Technical Skills: Students will be able to independently create, edit, and organize electronic drawings in the AutoCAD environment, use basic drawing and editing tools, and apply the principles of technical drawing when processing surveying drawings.
General Competence: The student is competent to effectively use CAD software for the basic processing and editing of surveying drawings and to work independently with drawing documentation in *.dwg format, taking into account the specifics of surveying practice.
