Anotace

The course focuses on acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of design using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies. Students will become familiar with the basic principles of design in the BIM environment, the creation and use of information models and the requirements for their processing. Emphasis is also placed on the implementation and respect of national and international standards and technical norms related to BIM and their application in design practice.
Knowledge: After completing the course, the student will explain the principles of design using BIM technologies in relation to information models and requirements arising from national and international standards and technical norms. He will explain the benefits of BIM for the practice of a designer.
Skills: The student uses the principles of BIM design in practical tasks using software design systems.
General competencies: The student chooses the correct procedures when solving project tasks, is familiar with the information model and works effectively with information during the individual phases of the project. Applies national and international standards and technical norms, respects requirements for the structure, content and sharing of project data and cooperates in the creation and coordination of the information model within the project team. Is able to assess the quality and usability of processed project and information outputs, identify basic shortcomings and propose an appropriate way to solve them. Applies the acquired knowledge and skills in the independent solution of professional tasks and in team cooperation in the digital design environment.
