Summary
The course “Fieldwork I” is designed to provide practical application of the theoretical foundations covered in the courses “Fundamentals of Geodesy” and “Geodesy I,” as well as to provide practice in simple tasks such as determining the position of a point on the Earth's surface, establishing a survey network, and measuring angles and distances.
Professional Knowledge: Students will deepen their understanding of the basic principles of geodetic surveying, particularly methods for determining the positions of points on the Earth’s surface, establishing survey networks, and measuring horizontal and vertical angles and distances.
Professional Skills: Students will be able to apply basic geodetic procedures in the field, correctly operate basic geodetic instruments and tools, perform simple measurements, and process measured data to determine the positions of points and verify the survey network.
General Competence: The student is competent to independently perform simple geodetic work in the field, adhere to the principles of proper measurement and quality control, and responsibly assess the usability and basic accuracy of the obtained results.
