Field Training III

The course focuses on practical exercises related to surveying activities for the purposes of the Cadastre of Real Estate and the Digital Technical Map. Students carry out surveying work for the preparation of geometric plans, the demarcation of property boundaries, and the acquisition of geodetic base documentation for maintaining and updating the Digital Technical Map. The course builds on the knowledge acquired in the Cadastre of Real Estate course and enables students to gain a comprehensive understanding of these activities, from preparation and field surveying to the subsequent processing of measured data.
Professional Knowledge:
Students describe the basic principles and procedures of surveying activities carried out for the purposes of the Cadastre of Real Estate and the Digital Technical Map. They understand the basic requirements for surveying work involved in the preparation of geometric plans, the demarcation of property boundaries, and the processing of geodetic base documentation for maintaining the Digital Technical Map.
Professional Skills:
Students practically perform field surveying for the preparation of geometric plans and the demarcation of property boundaries. They are able to carry out measurements and acquire the necessary data for preparing geodetic base documentation for maintaining and updating the Digital Technical Map. They are able to use surveying equipment correctly and perform measurements with regard to the required accuracy and purpose of the survey.
General Competences:
Students independently assess the suitability of the selected surveying procedure for solving a specific task and are able to organize and carry out field surveying. They are able to evaluate the quality and completeness of the acquired surveying data and to act responsibly when performing surveying activities for the purposes of the Cadastre of Real Estate and the Digital Technical Map.
