Summary
The Cadastre of Real Estate of the Czech Republic is a set of data on real estate in the Czech Republic, including their inventory and description, as well as their geometric and positional determination. It includes records of ownership and other rights in rem, as well as other rights to these properties stipulated by law. The Cadastre of Real Estate contains a range of important information on land parcels and selected buildings and their owners. Within the course Cadastral Surveying, students acquire theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience with cadastral surveying issues, including the preparation of geometric plans.
Professional knowledge: The student acquires knowledge of the purpose, content, and administration of the Cadastre of Real Estate of the Czech Republic, the relevant legal regulations in the field of the cadastre, and the principles of recording real estate, its geometric and positional determination, ownership, and other rights in rem.
Professional skills: The student is able to navigate cadastral data and apply basic procedures when solving cadastral tasks, particularly in the preparation of geometric plans, records of detailed surveying changes, and the setting out of property boundaries.
General competences: The student is able to make independent and responsible decisions when solving basic professional and practical tasks in the field of the Cadastre of Real Estate and to provide professional justification for the selection of appropriate procedures and solutions. The student is able to search for, interpret, and critically evaluate cadastral data and the limitations of individual solutions and use them as a basis for geodetic and related activities. The student takes responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the results of their work, complies with applicable legal and technical regulations, and considers the legal and ethical implications of proposed solutions. The student is able to coordinate individual professional activities when solving more complex tasks and communicate the results of their work clearly to both professionals and the general public.
