1. Geometric basics of cartographic works, map projections.
2. Content elements of map face.
3. Map language, types and creation of cartographic signs, map symbology, sign sets.
4. Methods of cartographic representation planimetric component of a map.
5. Methods of cartographic representation of altimetry.
6. Methods of cartographic representation of text. Geonyms.
7. Methods of cartographic generalization.
8. Basic tasks of cartometry, maps accuracy.
9. World and European cartographic works.
10. Czechoslovak / Czech cartographic works from 1918-1992.
11. State maps of the Czech Republic of medium and small scales.
12. National geodatabase systems.
13. National and world atlases and important thematic cartographic works.
