Summary
MicroStation is a general-purpose CAD system and a powerful graphics editor that can be used in many fields. It allows users to create any type of technical and surveying drawings. PowerDraft is a streamlined version that is identical to MicroStation in terms of 2D drafting. This course focuses not only on mastering the program, but primarily on the fundamentals of creating technical drawings on a computer, with an emphasis on adhering to CAD standards, including unwritten ones.
Professional Knowledge: Students will gain knowledge of the basic principles and procedures of 2D technical drawing in the MicroStation PowerDraft environment, including the creation, structure, and organization of digital drawings.
Professional Skills: Students will be able to independently create and edit 2D drawings in the MicroStation PowerDraft environment, use basic drawing and editing tools, and apply the principles of technical drawing when preparing materials for semester projects.
General Competence: The student is competent to effectively use MicroStation PowerDraft software to create and edit 2D drawing documentation and to apply the acquired skills when solving professional tasks and working on semester projects.
