Summary

This course covers the processing of survey data using Leica Infinity software. This software, developed by Leica, is primarily used for processing GNSS survey data. However, the software also allows for the processing of terrestrial survey data collected using a total station, as well as elevation measurements taken with a digital level.

Technical Knowledge: Students will gain knowledge of the principles of processing geodetic measurements in the Leica Infinity environment, particularly the processing of GNSS measurements, terrestrial measurements using a total station, and elevation measurements using digital leveling instruments. They will become familiar with the basic principles of GNSS post-processing, coordinate transformation to the JTSK system, adjustment of elevation measurements, and the creation of technical outputs.
Technical Skills: Students will be able to work independently in the Leica Infinity environment, import and process measured data, perform basic GNSS calculations using static and RTK methods, create a local transformation key for converting coordinates to the JTSK system, and process and adjust elevation measurements. They are also able to generate report and graphical outputs and export the resulting data in the required formats.
General Competency: The student is competent to independently use the Leica Infinity software for basic processing and evaluation of geodetic measurements, select appropriate processing procedures based on the nature of the input data, and assess the basic accuracy and usability of the obtained results for the purposes of geodetic practice and semester projects.
