Summary

Professional knowledge of the fundamental principles, characteristics, and applications of geodetic, photogrammetric, laser-based, and mobile technologies for spatial data acquisition. Professional knowledge and understanding of the principles of terrestrial laser scanning, LiDAR, SLAM, and mobile laser scanning, including the fundamentals of point-cloud classification, data formats, and spatial data workflows. Professional skills in comparing individual technologies, assessing their advantages and limitations, selecting an appropriate technology for a specific task, and performing basic operations with spatial data and their formats. General competences to independently assess the suitability of different technologies for spatial data acquisition, their integration, and to perform basic interpretation of the resulting data using current methods of automated processing and artificial intelligence.
